In 2002, Patrick cofounded Galvin Communications, a word of mouth marketing and public relations firm in Portland, Oregon. Patrick earned an M.B.A. in international marketing from Thunderbird, one of America’s top-ranked international business MBA programs. As the international sales manager for an industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturer, he built and trained a profitable sales network throughout North and South America. He subsequently became president of his family’s furniture stores. Under his leadership and marketing direction, sales rose 300% in three years.

Patrick graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a BS in Foreign Service. He won a prestigious Rotary Scholarship for postgraduate studies at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Aside from his native English, Patrick is fluent in spoken and written Spanish and Portuguese and is learning Mandarin (he and his wife love to travel and have visited 45 countries on every continent except Africa). An animal lover, he co-wrote Secrets of a Working Dog: Unleash Your Potential and Create Success which illustrates how humans can work smarter and be happier from the perspective of his wise and witty boxer dog Bella.
